Disney World Embraces Your Inner Child

I've been visiting Disney World in Orlando Florida ever since I was in my moms belly. They went every year ever since my older brother was just a wee little baby and sometimes with different relatives in my family. I am so eternally grateful for my parents starting the amazing family vacation tradition for us to even love at the ages of 18& 21. It has taught me to never lose my inner child, to always have fun and appreciate family time more. I love Disney World and now that I am older I can appreciate the other parks like Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure because they do have more mature rides there. Although I don't necessarily feel the magic in at as I used to when I was younger, my kid-like spirit loves to look at all the younger kids bright faces. I appreciate the place more and what it does for all those children whose eyes brighten and hearts beaming when they see the castle and every princess. Of course I freak out too when I see the castle (as will any Disney lover), but there's something about that place that just feels like home to us. We've been there so many times that we know the ropes and how to manage time, food and money by now, but every time we go it's always something new so it keeps us on our toes.

Last year we went with one of the biggest groups I think we have ever taken around mid March. There were 9 people in one SUV that seats 8. My parents, my older and younger brother, my 2 cousins and her daughter and my boyfriend. It was our first vacation together and although things were a little cramped and some disagreements happened we still had an amazing time. It was my cousins daughter's and my boyfriends 1st time going to Disney World and Florida in general. They both were amazed and had the time of their lives. Florida really brings everyone together in my family and not going on vacation for 6 years like we did totally killed us, so I'm glad that we are finally regularly going on vacations.

This year we are going with just my immediate family in June and I feel like I'm going to be lonely because I'm used to having more family and my boyfriend with us from last vacation.. butttt I have a feeling I will get over it real quick once I'm in that Floridian sun hahaha. I love Disney World and both of the other 2 parks that we go to as well because it keeps my family young and full of fun and life. I highly recommend going on vacations as often as you can with your family or with a significant other because everybody needs that time away from reality for just a little bit. Have fun& be forever young ;)
