Growing up feeling like such an outcast.. someone that didn't really belong.. someone that did not have a wholle ton of friends, I turned to Youtube for some company. And since I started to take an interest in makeup, all I did with my spare time was watching beauty gurus work their magic. The looks they created just awed me and I felt soo inspired to want to be like them. So I wanted to give kind of an ode to those beauty gurus that helped and inspired me. I seriously recommend checking all these girls out!
The first beauty guru I ever watched was
Michelle Phan. I can't remember when I started watching it was just such a long time ago. She was so gorgeous and I loved watching her create art from a blank canvas. She makes you feel good and keeps your head up when you're feeling down at times. She helped me forget all the bad harsh things I was going through and just have fun playing around with makeup. Mish went from making small Youtube videos to really getting creative and pushing the mark a little bit more. She has become very successful and as a long loved viewer I am so proud of what she has become with her own makeup cosmetic line. She is deeply in love and started her brand new exciting life, but she never fails to remind us that she is that same girl just more improved and well off. Every time the end of her videos would end, I would repeat with her "Goodluck" because it really makes you feel
empowered to recreate her designs or take on life obstacles. I <3 you Mish, you are truly one of my greatest inspirations.
I almost forgot to mention my second beauty guru I was ever introduced to..
Lindy! (Bubzbeauty) I remember watching her videos and just wishing I had her head of hair. So I actually did and it became my signature look! Bubz has been such an inspiration to me makeup wise and emotionally wise. We both suffered from acne so it was great to relate and listen to her tips. Lindy struggled with finding what makes her sincerely happy and it was her art and I really related to that as well. She is ever so sweet with a pinch of sassy. I ssoooo very much enjoy watching her do makeup and hair tutorials and her daily vlog videos. Especially since her and Tim got married and are having a baby "Peanut"! It's so enjoyable and exciting to watch their family grow and their journey to it. I love her like if she was my legit bestfriend and I always look forward to watching her videos in whatever mood I am in.

Kandee Johnson! Omg I cannot say enough good things about her. She's and all around amazing person who alwaays smiles and loves to make all of her viewers smile waay bigger. She's like your own virtual best friend that never fails to make you laugh and always cheers you up. Kandee not only inspires, but she also does gorgeousssss makeup as well as transformation videos. It's refreshing to see her do videos with her children to spread the love all across the board, especially when her baby girl Ellie is involved. They both just spread smiles and love and that is super important. She's super spontaneous, edgy and daring, but that's what sets her apart from everyone else. Kandee makes sure to remind her viewers every video on exactly how important they are and how talented they can be and if you feel like no one else cares about you, know that she does. I absolutely adore her and I wish to become an amazing individual and mama just like her one day.
I'm so mad I keep forgetting my old favorites, but when I go on Youtube I remember lol SO with that being sad: This is Updates as of 3/3/14. DulceCandy! Yes that is her legit name.. and it's so spunky and sweet(; Dulce is the perfect beauty lover and babbler.. but I mean when you love makeup that much you wouldn't want to be quiet about it either! Serving in the army, you wouldn't believe this petite mommy was a badass underneath. She is gorgeous and watching her vlogs with her hubby and baby boy are so adorable. Her makeup and fashion sense is perrrffff.
She's related to Michelle Phan, so it's safe to say there's something about these girls that just amazes me.
Promise Phan. I feel in love with Promise's innocence and amazing transformation videos she does. She's funny and very down to earth. I looked forward to her downloading new transformation videos that would just absolutely blow me away!
Andrea (Andreaschoice) is absolutely stunning..like are you looking at this picture right there?! ^^^ She's super fun and charismatic. She's spontaneous and I love watching her videos, they pretty much all are super helpful and fun to watch. Her beauty is what inspired me the most to be honest, there's nothing about her that she needs to change at all. I took some great pointers from some of her DIY videos and I'm sure a lot of people can agree with me on that one. I love Andrea and I wish she would make videos a little more often just because I miss her face! Haha.
