Much Too Much Makeup

Makeup is such a weird thing. Sometimes we wear it, to make it seem like we aren't wearing any at all. Sometimes we wear too much to try to look good, but once you have 2 different skin colors.. you need to stop adding so much. I mean do what makes you happy, but you should do it right.

I will never understand why people with clear, beautiful skin wear makeup. Why do you need to put a layer of crap on your face when your own face itself, is flawless. Just because you have under eye circles and a microscopic blemish, you deem it necessary to add a pound of foundation, concealer and powder? That's absurd. I have a face full of acne and I despise wearing makeup.

Although I do hate wearing it, sometimes my self-esteem gets to me and I cant leave the house without wearing it. So I don't blame people that are going through what I'm going through. It totally depends on my mood though. If I feel hideous then I'm going to try to cover up my acne filled face but without over-doing it too much. Other days when I'm just fed up I don't wear any at all. It's not worth it sometimes honestly.

Sometimes putting makeup on to cover your imperfections can actually cause your skin to worsen later on. Caking makeup on your face can be too heavy and cause pre-mature wrinkles. Having acne and wearing makeup isn't the best option because it has the potential to clog your pores and add more acne to your face. Remember to use oil-free makeup; to only makeup that I am aware of that is oil-free is from Neutrogena.

In the summertime definitely ease off the heavy makeup, no one wants a greasy face with makeup sliding everywhere. Just use BB cream, mascara, maybe some liquid cheek stain and a lip balm with SPF and you're good to go! No need to have a full on makeup routine in the summer. Keep it light and easy and remember to always wear sunscreen or a moisturizer with good SPF.

If you have a special occasion to attend, whether it be a wedding, sweet 16, birthday party, graduation/prom, girls night out then that's when you go full out with your makeup. Those are times when you got to look beautiful, hot, and flawless, but most girls I find, try to impress people with makeup every single day in school.

Let's say you aren't one to wear a lot of makeup, or hardly ever wear it. Then that's extremely fine to wear it once in a while, but don't get used to bad habits. Clean your brushes and don't forget to take off your makeup at night to let your skin breathe! Have fun with makeup and go all out, it's not like you wear it often!

Don't forget skin care! If you take care of your skin then there really is no need for you to wear a lot of makeup on your face.Just because you're skin is clear now doesn't mean it will stay that way forever. Make sure to take care of it and moisturize daily and exfoliate at least once a week, that'll help in the long run.

Wearing that much makeup is not cute and some guys tend to stay away from fake beauty. They want the real thing, besides, you're going to wind up taking your makeup off once you get comfortable with your boyfriend/girlfriend anyway, so what's the point? Stay true to yourself, you're beautiful without makeup, but if wearing makeup does make you feel beautiful then do what makes you happy. Just don't over do it and become someone you're not. Of course with makeup you can express yourself and try different styles, just make sure that you're comfortable with it and not just doing it because you liked that look on someone else.

Be you, because you're all beautiful!
