Stick Shift Cars.. Yes or No ?

So I have been doing a lot more of these lifestyle type blog posts because they take less time up for me and are just easier honestly. I will be doing a "Sexy Swimwear" and "Fashion Fundamentals" soon though!

Being 19 and having to depend on other people for rides to go to work, school or anywhere out of the house is such an annoying struggle. I can't go anywhere on my own.. even days where I just want to bring my boyfriend lunch at work I can't do that because unless I take the bus there's no way I'm getting there on my own. I've been saving up for a car and it's been hard since I don't have a set schedule at work. My boyfriend is a mechanic so he knows what cars to look for and if he thinks the car is worth our time fixing. Well after long weeks of legitimate searching, we found a cute little car for me...only problem is..it's stick shift.

Now I got my license when I was 16-17 and I honestly driven maybe 4 times since then because I didn't have a car and nobody would let me drive their cars so I couldn't get that experience. I've just been getting chauffeured around and I'm not complaining because days I just don't want to drive I don't have to worry about it. But it's kind of getting old honestly and I want to not be so dependent on other people. My boyfriend took me to an empty parking lot to drive his stick shift car and it wasn't too bad but let's just say I need some extra help when it comes to hills. (I burned his clutch).

We're going Tuesday to check out this car and my dad is really nervous for me because like I said I've maybe driven 4 times in 2 years. I have to admit I'm very anxious but excited because lots of girls can drive stick shift so why can't I? I'll post pictures of my baby when I actually go to look at it in person! If there are any girls that are reading this and drive manual cars.. do you like it and is it hard to get used to?
