It's been a while since I've done an update on my Post-Accutane progress, so I'll let you in on a bit of a secret... I broke out again! And not like a small zit here and there, like full on broke out again to the point where I couldn't even look in the mirror again. Yeah that bad. But I partially blame myself for this breakout because my eating habits were anything but healthy. Anyway, I've been trying my best to eat healthier now and spending more time on my skin health. I still have a few breakouts on my forehead and cheek, but my skins texture from scarring is soo much better. Wanna know my updated skin routine? Here we gooo..

To start off, I use my Aveeno daily exfoliant mixed with a little of my Proactiv body/face scrub. This way I can get the acne treatment with a gentler exfoliant that helps to make your skin youthful and more glowing.

I'll wait a little while for the natural oils to come back to my face before using this product because it's really drying to my skin (call me crazy for doing that, but I feel like it works). This helps burn those suckers and shrink them a wee bit and also helps fade acne scars.

Then I'll go in with this topical medicine that my dermatologist gave me a while back, but you can use any Spot Treatment. I use this in the morning so that during the day something is drying out that bugger. Not sure if it actually does anything, but I use it just in case.

I received the spinning exfoliating brush as a gift for Christmas and I absolutely love it. That little baby, I believe, is the reason the texture of my skin is almost flawless. Like seriously my skin is so smooth (despite the zits lol). I have no more deep scarring and my pores look smaller. It's from Acneefree, but to my surprise my mom got me one as well from Olay. They're about the same size and the brush-head is about the same as well. The Olay one is a bit more softer I'd have to say. Anywaayy, when I have a ton of pimples that I just want dried out, I'll use the tiniest amount of the sample I have of Neutrogena's Oil Free Acne Wash with the brush. You only need a little! Trust me! But if I use too much or my skin just has some dry patches, then I'll use my Simple Moisturizing Wash to get rid of all the dead skin, of course with the brush.

To moisturize, because I have been having several dry patches lately, I'll use my Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion. But I recently watched a video of
JLovesMac1 (Jarmaine, my girl), where she used Coconut Oil to help her skin and hair. Granted the one I use, is not necessarily an oil, I still warm it up in my palms and it becomes an oil. Days I have dry skin I'll pop this on with the lotion and my skin absorbs it so well. That little guy has changed my life and I only used it for two days now. It really moisturizes and helped my skin look glowing and actually took away some of the redness in my face! I use this on my body and hair as well!

Now for at-night blemish treatment, I use a Glycolic Acid that my dermatologist gave me-which helps your skins texture and prevents wrinkles. I love this stuff! Now I mix that with Epiduo and the combination is a dream team. It burns my skin a wee bit not going to lie, but when I wake up and the blemishes are flattened or significantly smaller, I thank this magical pair.
