Stila One Step Correct Serum/Primer

I know my last post was another "Makeup Musts" but I just have to make this post already! I've been holding out to see how this product does in winter and more warmer climates. I originally started to use this because of Shaaanxo on Youtube. Her face has some natural redness to it and so does mine considering my many acne scarring. So without anymore delay...here are my thoughts on the 

Stila One Step Correct Serum/Primer!

Claims:

• helps smooth fine lines

• green- minimizes redness
• lavender- counteracts sallow undertones
• peach- brightens, illuminates & helps diminish the appearance of sunspots

In Colder Climates:

Like many other people, my skin is more dry when it's colder outside. And when I first started using this product I felt like it didn't move much on my skin. That it was more drying and didn't really do much. I actually really didn't like this product at all. It felt like putting Elmer's glue on my face. But I wasn't ready to give up on it because I knew Shaaanxo kind of raved about it and is obsessed with it for color correcting. So I never threw it out or returned it or anything. I just kept it in my vanity until spring rolled around.

In Warmer Climates: Using this for my really oily skin is the best thing ever. It wouldn't say it mattifies is completely, but it does a good job of controlling it. The claims for what each color represents is 100% true in my own experience. The green significantly reduces the amount of redness I have from pimples and acne scarring just after a few minutes of application. The lavender is supposed to help with unhealthy looking yellow or brown spots in the face, so it helps with some of those deeper darker acne scarring. And lastly, the peach does help with brightening and illuminating the face. Altogether, they really make your skin look very healthy, which is really hard to find in a product. There are days where I don't feel like applying any makeup to my face at all, but the redness can bug me a little. So I will use this product all over, wait for it to settle and you'll see the beautiful results! 

Would I recommend: I definitely would recommend this product to anyone who has natural redness to their face or red acne scarring like myself. It just does an amazing job at evening out my skintone and keep it looking healthier. It feels really lightweight on the skin, so I love using it as a primer as the claims suggest underneath makeup. There are some days where I will first apply this product then a primer built for improving skin's texture overtop to get the ultimate base for makeup. I love this product and I will definitely be using it throughout my trip to Florida in a couple days!
