Makeup During Accutane

When you're on Accutane, although your blemishes will be fading away.. you still want to conceal them and be confident enough to go a night on the town with the girls and not have to worry. I used 1 foundation my entire process...I hate picking out new foundations.



I'm not entirely sure if this product works yet, but I like having a primer that helps to "erase" pores and leaves you with soft skin. It is a part of my daily routine when I am going to work, but if I'm going to go run quick errands than I don't really need to apply it




Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation (my shade is 825). This foundation has a primer, foundation and concealer in it. I'd say it has light to medium coverage. It has a matte finish so if you have oily skin out of Accutane than try this! However, this medicine gives you dry skin, for me this was okay.. it dries quickly and I don't particularly love the way it looks in the beginning of putting it on. I think once you give it time on your skin to settle in, that's when it looks its best. It does last me the whole day which is amazing. I have to say though, I love the powder finish because I don't like wearing a lot of makeup so I don't need to set it with anything other than a makeup mist spray.


 Loreal True Match LUMI Foundation  I haven't given this foundation a fair try yet because I didn't get my right shade yet, but from trying it out with my wrong shade, I would say this would be a good foundation when on Accutane because it gives you that dewy skin finish. It's perfect when you have that dry skin on the medication. However, I don't really prefer dewy skin in general, when you're on Accutane it's exactly what you need. I love the luminescence effect you get with this foundation because it just gives you that glowing beautiful skin. Since I am not found of dewy skin I'm not used to the texture on my skin.. it feels like cakey and that I'm wearing a ton of makeup..so I'm not entirely sure if I would re-purchase.
 So I would just keep my daily makeup very natural and with very little makeup. I would use this eye liner (I only love using liquid liner) to make a winged eye and one of these mascaras and feel extremely comfortable.
I always set my makeup with this setting spray. I love the simple ingredients and how it leaves my skin feeling fresh. It doesn't add dewyness to your skin and I love that. Never go a day wearing makeup without setting it with this! Simple& Equate Cleansing Wipes are what I always use to remove my makeup and it feels so refreshing. The Equate wipes are cheaper, have more wipes, are bigger and feel a wee bit more refreshing than the Simple ones, but I still love my Simple ones because I feel like it does a really good job of making my skin feel clean.
