Hey everyone, I hope everyone is having a good back to school experience. Whether it'd be your first or last year of school, please make it one to remember. Have confidence and study hard!
Yesterday was my first semester at a new college and I have to say it went pretty well. Granted I only had 1 class and just chilled until my friend got out of class. It's a new school that is a little bigger so getting used to the buildings and how to get around is going to take a little adjusting to. My friends been such a great help to me, but I feel like a lost puppy sometimes. We walked around a bit because tomorrow I have to come here all by myself since she's off. Which isn't too bad so I think I should be fine, wish me luck I don't get lost though...GPS doesn't work to find your classes lol.
So far I love my classes and the teachers are all pretty nice, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the semester. My Computer Logic/Design class was really fun and the professor is so funny. So I don't think it will be as stressful as I initially thought it was going to be. The only thing I'm nervous about for these first couple of weeks is driving my car all the way here. It's a 25-30 minute drive so hopefully I'll get used to it fairly quickly and will be able to drive other friends instead!
I have work today and my brother has work at 4 when I go in at 6 so I'm seriously thinking about driving there myself so I don't have to be 2 hours late. It looks like a fairly crappy day to shop at the mall so hopefully not a lot of people are on the road haha. No but I have to do it sometime so might as well do it when I'm feeling a wee bit more confident than other days right?
My life has been pretty busy and tiring, since I go from school at 7am to doing homework, to going to work shortly after. The school year hasn't even legitimately started with the work and I'm already feeling tired and ready to go to bed. I'm a pretty good juggler, but maybe this clown needs some extra sleeping time added to her schedule..
ANYWAY, I wanted to wish everyone luck this year/semester and just work your hearts out. If you really put the time and effort into something you can really do it and succeed. This year I'm studying what was said to be a "hard field" by my boyfriends sister who is currently studying the same thing. It involves a lot of math..which history has proven not to be my strongest suit. But I told myself, no one is going to tell me I can't do anything.. if this class proves to be too hard for me than that will be up to me and my hard work and focus to determine. But not any teacher nor guidance counselor. Only you know when you can or cannot do something so don't let anyone tell you otherwise. You are smart and you can achieve anything you want to if you work for it and put your whole heart into it.
Goodluck<3
