NYX's Pore Filler

Claims:
  • A sleek primer that smoothes inconsistencies in the skin to create a flawless, smooth finish
  • Creates a perfect canvas for foundations, powders and blush
  • Builds the base for any makeup look
  • Conceal your pores with this sleek and silky basecoat to smoothen and have flawless skin prior to applying your favorite foundation, powder, and bronzer

  • Initial Thoughts: I honestly had really high hopes for this product. I thought it'd be dupe for Benefit's "The Pore-fessional" because of the skin color tone to it. The texture of this product felt very velvety when I swatched it Ulta, so it got me very excited to try it out.

1st Use: Oh wow did I hate this product. It helped control a bit of the oiliness on my face for some reason, but that's about the only thing this product has going for me. It seeped into every wrinkle..that I didn't know I had and wore off pretty quickly for me. The reason I tried this over the Matte one (which I know would make more sense) is because I have enlarged pores and I wanted to see if this would do the trick.

2nd Use: The second time I used this product, it came to the same outcome. Yes my skin felt velvety smooth, but it didn't do much else. My skin looked horrible and it didn't really hold my makeup for that long again.

Final Verdict: I really wanted to like this product, but with only using it two times and getting the same result it was nearly impossible. If you tried it and it works for you then great, but for me it just didn't do my skin much justice.

    Would I recommend:
If you're a girl with oily skin like me, then this product is a no-go. And like I said if you've tried this product and love it, then more power to you baby g, but this product is not the one for me! I love NYX Cosmetics, so it's not like I'm going to stop using their products in all, but I will not be re-purchasing this product again.
