Hey all, I have been slacking on my ipsy Glam Bag posts. I just get excited when they come I just want to try all the products out and study them over several uses. I have been super busy with school and work, but I promise you I will have them all caught up by the end of this week! *DON'T FORGET!: If you're interested in purchasing any of these products click the name of each item I described and it will take you to ipsy's website!*
The first thing is this NYX-ipsy eye shadow pallet. It comes with 3 very warm-toned colors that are each equally beautiful. It seriously can go from a day to night look that I actually did once. Simply by using the first two shades for the day: applying the very pink shimmery color all over the lids and then the brown in the crease. You could also use that first shade in the inner corner only and the 2nd color all over the lid for a smokey-day look. And for the night, just intensify the smokey-ness by adding that darker brown into the outer V of the eye. Definitely worked for me. I like the simplicity of this pallet. Plus the colors are pretty pigmented. So it was a pretty nice product overall.
The next thing, is this cream blusher in ASH. First off, I just want everyone to know how ridiculous the packaging for this product is. In the picture it looks like it's filled all the way to the top. I don't even have long nails and I couldn't reach the product for the life of me. You see where the rivets to screw the cap on end? Yeah that's where the product really starts. And I feel like if I were to take a brush small enough to fit into this pot, it would just get too much product and wouldn't blend on my face properly. So as of right now, it's just sitting in my collection taking up space until I can think of something better to do with it.
This is the Trestique Matte Lip Crayon. I like this brand, so that's why they keep giving me it in my bags haha. No but seriously, I love this shade. It's more of a nude color that I'm not really use to or comfortable with. So it's fun to get out of my comfort zone every now and then when I do use it. It's a pretty peachy-pink shade. I love matte lipsticks over everything so I was happy I received this. The only thing I can recall from wearing this shade is that it doesn't really last long so you have to constantly keep reapplying it. Which I don't really mind, it is what it is.
Vasanti exfoliating cleanser, is LIFE. The texture of this product is meant for you to really get down to the nitty gritty of your skin. There are so many fine pieces of exfoliating beads and they don't dissolve right away so you have some time to really work it into your skin. I like to use this to buff out my skin especially around worry areas of my face. It doesn't irritate my skin. Of course any good exfoliating cleanser is going to leave your face momentarily a little red, that's only because it's bringing up new skin cells and circulating your blood flow. I find the Philosophy Microdermabrasion wash is very comparable to this product. They both feel quite similar. I mean I only used the Philosophy one once, but even then it made my face feel the same way this product does. Love this product so much!
Bayberry Naturals Moisturizer..oh hi. I actually forgot all about you. I believe I used this product a couple times and I believe I liked it. I enjoy the fact that it was rosehip in it because that tames redness. I have a whole skin regime now, so I'm sorry I completely forgot I had this!
